Fitted this yesterday and love it, got it ex demo from Seat in Sheffield came with everything.

Got to say they are defo worth it, works with everything apart from the mdi box but that don't bother me as it's got USB and mirco sd plus iPod at extra cost for the lead.

Looks pretty fantasticand DAB would be nice but how much did this ex-demo head unit cost?   On FleaBay they seem very expensive.  How much do the Garmin map updates cost?  Appears to have an SD card slot but no USB memory stick slot.

You do updates firmware/maps etc via the USB on the flying lead (usually in the glove box with iPod dock).

I've updated mine today of the kenwood site for free. Like Ben says rear flying USB for the updates.

Yeah works with parking sensors and maxi dot on some cars

Looks like an awesome piece of kit. I'm looking at a unit for mine. I'm slightly put off by the size of the screen on the Columbus ones. Think they look a little small. How much are you looking at for a kenwood. I definitely think this is the way to go :-). I've just had a look at your other thread. Awesome car you got. Really like the look of front de badged.

The kenwood unit start from £800-£1000 but there is some on eBay second hand. Cheers for comments about the build thread.

it don't work with that but you get an USB lead for the unit plus aux and iPod port on the back but need the extra wire
