Just ordered a Octavia VRS TDI estate in Race Blue to replace my Superb 170 Elegance Estate - loved the Superb but don't need all the space now the kids are older.

 

Been quoted late September delivery......but I'm not holding my breath!

 

Anyone out there made the same transition?  How do the two compare in terms of acceleration/handling/ride/noise levels etc?

Well done on your choice!

I have not made the transition myself but my guess is you will find it much quicker off the mark, a bit noisier and the ride will be a bit harder as well.
