As title guys, looking at fitting an aftermarket uh and was informed I'd need to wire in a switched live, any guides, how to's to show which fuse it needs to come off?.

I cant help with the Octy but my Monte is exactly the same, I basically snipped the heater speed control and spaded both wires but connected the 12v wire from the stereo to one of them.

I used a piggy back fuse and put it in the towbar fuse outlet, number 7 on mine iirc

18 or 19 on mine. Used one for parking sensors the other will be for a towbar.
