We'll after a 6 month wait I took delivery of my VRS TDI this morning.

Only had a 10 minute drive so far, but I'm pretty impressed right now

I've been lucky enough to drive some great cars, and own a few decent ones, so I'm pretty fussy about my cars, we'll so far I am thoroughly impressed.

Love the diesels grunt and refinement, also eager for a diesel too.

The car is really quite agile for a relative big car. It's way more sporty than I thought too, I mean it's just a bit firmer, sharper and more responsive. Seems really comfortable too.

If you're getting fed up of waiting, just hold on in there. It'll be worth it.

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
