Replacing Front NS Indicator Bulb.

Featured Replies

Got an MOT warning that front NS bulb was discoloured on my FL. Think it's losing its orange on one side. I know how to extract the headlight unit and replace the main and dipped bulbs. But have there been any pictures how to remove and replace the bulb? I know it is deeply buried. Going to be a dealer trip unless I get a definite it can be done.

Thanks

I have sorted it. Easy as per owners hand book and replaced the pair. The varnish was crozzled* on one side. I was thinking of the parking light bulb replacement.

Could have replaced them with a nice pair of silver ones.......will loose the orange when the bulb isn't flashing, but still flashes orange. ;) ;)

They often aren't as bright though.

The best ones are rumoured to be from Philips or Osram.

Left (Osram, as pictured above), right (standard silver coated bulbs)...
