Hi there I was wondering if anyone has use 3m transparent film protection on there car. I am collecting my car tomorrow Octavia TDi 2.0 Elegance Mark III and I am getting bit paranoid about it getting it scratched. Specially chip mark on my BI xenon and bumper top. Any suggestions if it's worth protecting it? Or if it damages paint when you peel it off?

have a search for Lamin-X headlight film. Quality stuff, used in motorsports

I haven't really got any others where you can clear see the film, bar the one below of the bonnet been installed

I've had the front bumper, headlights, part bonnet, wings,a pillars, backs of the wing mirrors and the top of the rear bumper done, it was £400 plus vat

Had the full bonnet covered on the Fabia, I was able to remove the trim which held the badge so the film was laid end to end and the trim refitted afterwards. How did this person get around the badge on the Octavia ? ?

Thank you for sharing the picture! As you mention your bonnet is half covered could you see the transparent film pasted on it...? Am thinking to do back bumper head light and they guy said he would do the door edge for free. How do you feel about this product?

Thanks Neily! I wasn't sure if that was a reflection or the finish line :-P I guess if i go for it I will do back bumper and my Bi xenon and depending on offer I might consider front bumper. 

1hr left to collect my car. Just been told due to parts ordering system upgrade they couldn't order aluminium door sill guard :-/ It a bummer. Hope everything else is in place :-P buzzing :-)

it was done by a firm from Manchester, but they will do mobile fitting if you have a clean area they can do it in.

as neily03 said you can see the line, but it doesn't bother me. the only problem you do have is idiots that look with their fingers, because they think its a scratch.
