Hi

Got a knocking / tapping sound ..... Think of a drumstick on a plastic bottle ..... From somewhere in the rear, sitting in the drivers seat.

First couple of times it happened was after torrential rain. Reported to dealers at first service but they couldn't find or recreate it.

Happened again today, no real heavy rain - also only happens when the engine is running.

Any ideas?

Rear seat belt buckle not parked in its slot?

It's when the cars static but with engine running and it's to regular a beat

Check carry bag hooks in boot are snapped in correctly and not facing upward in the sliding position.

Also make sure all rear seats are snapped into position correctly

It's definitely mechanical ....
