Good day all

Has any one had intermittent problem with there power steering? It's just happened to me for the second time. Reversing into my parking space at home the orange warning light in the speedo comes on (it a steering wheel with a ! beside it). Then it looses its power steering!! Last time it happened, againg reversing into my parking space, when restarted the engine it was fine. I have not tried that yet, but I would hope it cures the problem.

But has any one else come across this, and is it likly to get worse??

Im sure others will be along soon but, it might be worth plugging it into the computer. It might have logged a fault?

It is unlikely to get better, without the fault being found and rectified.

 

You must know your Skoda Dealership quite well,

Best get it booked in to be checked under the Warranty.

Funny you should say that, although I bought the vRS from one dealer and the Monte and Roomsters from another!!

But yes they are getting to know me very well!

I have to visit my second dealer on Tuesday toick up a new passenger seat belt stalk, which fail when we were coming back from France last week. I will ask them to check out the Monte's failure codes. Looks like another reason to get my own VCDS!!
