Should I buy a Monte too ?

Featured Replies

Thinking about upsizing my wife's 62 plate Fabia Elegance 1.6 TDI 105 PS to a new Yeti Outdoor S 1.6 TDI 105 ps Green line 2 and downsizing my new shape 13 plate Audi A3 1.4 tfsi 122 PS S-Line for a new Fabia Monte Tech Black 1.2tsi 105 PS.

This is due to my low miles (3k pa) and my wife's car being our main family motor. Flipping it around so she has the bigger car. My car basically takes me to work and back. Considered a Citigo but wasn't impressed with the lack of go and noise.

Any thoughts folks ?

Love my Monte, how it'll stack up against your A3 I don't know but I don't think you'd be disappointed. The engine suits the car really well and the little bit extra spec you get with the Tech makes it nicer place to be in.

If you can get the price anywhere close to what we paid, £11995 list, then you get quite a bit of car for the money. Of course the new one will be launched in about 3 mths or so so just beware.

Dealer is quoting 12995 for a showroom car. I hadn't realised the new one was so imminent though

Changing an Elegance for an S and an S-Line for a Monte seems like two big downgrades to me.

I'd get a better spec Yeti if that's the main car and an old banger to do 3k miles per year.  Or use her Elegance.

I found the Yeti S rather cheap inside.  You want SE at least and preferably Elegance.

Spot on Richard that's exactly what I'm worried about. I'd rather wait and get a better spec Yeti.
