ECS CLUTCH KITS

Featured Replies

Fitted this kit to my old yellow Octavia and couldn't fault it. Nice light pedal feel and performs real well. Certainly coped with the 226bhp and 251ftlb I put through it. I went for the lighter flywheel too. No extra noise and revs up nicely. My Dad has the car now and it's still fine

Aye that's the one. No rattles at all. Petrol engines really don't need a dmf imo, you don't get the vibrations like you do with diesels which rattle like ******s when you put on a smf.

Awesome bud cheers,

Just seems a good price and all id need

Was it nice to drive and pull away ?

I thought light made it easy to stall etc

Or is that like the 7lb flywheel

Yeah, it's fine. I've driven it this weekend and it's still as nice to drive as I remember it being. Never had stalling issues, you'd need to go very light for that malarkey. The flywheel I used to have on the Rover was far too light and got right on my wick along with it's really long first gear. When I put the bigger engine in I went back to a normal flywheel.

So the 14.5lb is a nice option

And no chatter or such :)

It gets my vote and it'll be what goes on my red one when it needs a clutch.

Sweet, sounds like it shall do

Now to price up fitting :(

ECS 14lb on mine, had a little rattle at first but soon calmed down, only slight noise now but think most of that is from the THS engine mounts and Superpro dogbone, would recommend it though.

Looks like a hit then :)

I have that kit with the 22lb flywheel. Great feel, like OEM but a bit lighter.

Had to have the clutch strengthened when my tune made 400Nm, it's rated to 350 I think.
