maxi dot menus not working

Featured Replies

hi have a mk2 fl vrs was trying to get into the menu screen but it wasnt going into the menu screen but is coming up with check deadlocks when the ignition is switched off.

any help much appreciated

Does your screen look like this by any chance?

If so you don't have maxidot, just the standard fl clocks.

If you have maxidot it will show a picture when the door is open showing which door on a picture of the car.

Yep thats what it looks like. Thanks for clearing that up. Is there any way of accessing the menus e.g. to activate or de activate deadlocks with that type of screen or do I need vag com?

You can only access the menu via maxidot, so would need to use VCDS to change any customisation settings.

They all say check deadlocks. You cannot get rid of this message. It's to remind you not to lock anyone in the car. Don't worry about it.
