Ok, here is my problem - i have a red octavia and the roof has started to go very very dull and in places the paint has started to scorch. I think its had some sort of repair in the past and it has been badly done and now its looking awful. I was considering a respray but I'm trying to keep costs down, has anyone covered just the roof in Vinyl/carbon? How did it go? Plus on a red car what colour do i go for ? Black? white? 

 

Im also considering repairing the alloys that are looking sorry for themselves and i may co ordinate with the roof. Any suggestions on colour??

Beware of hidden expenses - If you get the roof covered in vinyl, you'll also have to have a set of 80's 'go faster' stripes painted on the bonnet, and you'll have to have the doors welded shut.

If you're dead set on getting your roof wrapped, and from your post it seems so...I'd go for black if I were you. I think white would look odd.
