Hi guys...

I know this topic has been covered loads but I need a bit of help..

Had the classic window went down and won't come back up using both switches. I can hear the door motor trying to lift the window also a horrible grinding noise...

I haven't drilled the rivets out yet as I don't no what to buy to fix it as the motor sounds like its working.. I'm under the impression there's a cable that runs round a disk thing and think that's come off and I may have chewed it up by holding the switching trying to get the window back up.. Does this sound possible? Or do I need to drill the rivits to have a look?
