This looks like the hydrophobic stuff I was experimenting with. That also was for use in the construction industry.

That failed anyway I think its more of an additive to the substrate material rather than a coating. The elements have

removed it from my bonnet. It was the most hydrophobic substance I have ever come across though literally was

allergic to water.
