Featured Replies

Hi i'm about to order an Octavia VRS in Race Blue without the Black pack, but I want to:-

a. Buy a black grille &

b. Fit it.

Can anyone give me advice on the part numbers and how to fit it please.

Just get the dealer to throw it in like I did when ordering mine. Along with cruise control, Mitsumi, sunset glass and a spare wheel :D

...And they they might just paint it black like they did with mine

Unfortunately it's a company car, so I don't have that option.

To fit it properly is a bumper off job but its not hard. If no one has posted the part number for you I will get it off the box in my garage tomorrow :-)

I got my black grille from Superskoda,  (which this weekend they have a 20% SALE)

and got a Skoda dealer to snap off the silver one and put black one on.. or it can be done my yourself...

Hi

i fitted new black surround and looks much better than the chrome

I carefully broke off / snapped off the chrome with a knife / flat screw driver. took 15 mins

then just clipped back the new black surround (£43 from skoda dealer) in less than 5 mins

Cheers
