It's been a while since i've visited, for various reasons, but now I feel the need to say hi as a Newbie again because I pick up my new VRS on Wednesday!

Replacing the Mk2 with a F/L Mk2, but most importantly it's a DSG!!!

Looking forward to it.

Much like the day i collected my Octavia vRS TFSI, back in 2008..... stopped a couple of times for pictures along the way too!

It was a great day and i certainly fell in love with my car from Day #1!!! Enjoy

The only thing i'm slightly worried about is i've heard the Bolero unit isn't too great..... I do like my music.

I guess i'll find out on Wednesday!

Well, picked the car up today, and i'm blown away! the DSG is an absolute peach!

Only problems I have are the bluetooth not recognising my iPhone, and the SD card reader only recognising 1 album on the card........

Hi all, finally got around to getting some new shoes ordered for the girl. I'm getting a set of Hankook Ventus Evo K137 235/45 ZR18 98Y XL put onto the Pegasus alloys. I was considering changing out the locking wheel nut for just a regular nut? Which then prompted the second question, I picked up a set of Alcar 9021 17inch Steelies for Winter Tyres, do I need to run seperate nuts due to the alloy v steel nature? I was looking on autodoc to try and order some nuts as I didn't know how often they

Dear Experts , Can anybody advice me what is the part about i.e side airbag or earthing ? This part is located near seat belt tensioner ( passenger front side on pillar of car,) two images are attached for info, image1 from YouTube shows big connector connecting two wires bit unclear picture, 2nd image is taken from my car shows some kind of adapter (843 ) not sure what it is connecting which is different from 1st image , not sure if any connection has been missed out to it is earthi

I really don't understand skoda in terms of rear lights. Why make diferent version of light at the back. My kodiaq is the selection version and came with a black trim in the trunk (instead of the tailight trim) , i dont mind but the thing that bugs me is the trunk left and right stop that don't light up .I know this is not a kodiaq only thing, the superb is on the same page. The thing that i would like to ask is if they have leds in them or not, and if it is a thing that cold be activated via o

My 2021 Skoda Superb iV estate has thrown up a woanring light and a message 'front assist failure'. As a result the ACC is not working. I have checked and cleaned the areas where I think the sensor lives but it has not helped. It did the same thing a year or so ago and after a few weeks it all started working again. Also the SOS light comes on sometimes. What can I do?
