vRS TSI ' Stuck' in Sport

Featured Replies

Anyone had this? Couple of occasions of late, after the car has been stood, I set off and it's stuck in sport.. although the infotainment tells me it's in normal. I switch to sport and back to normal via the screen a brief flicker and the cars OK again. Weird software glitch by the sound of it.

Not something I have come across I'm afraid, sounds like a quick trip to the stealer.

While you could argue that going everywhere in sport mode could be great fun, it ain't right.

I get the exact opposite... set it to sport, have a drive.  turn it off and on,  all settings say sport but engine in normal mode.

Think you got it spot on with software glitch.

its a VRS why would you want it in any other mode :notme:  :D

Its a safety default to stop SWMBO from accidently find out how much fun YOUR car can be to drive. Pull back on the DSG selector, that gives you sports mode engine whatever the actual mode selected is.
