A Really Stupid Question

I've painted my new callipers etc Green  . I dismantled every thing to paint it. Do I have to re-assemble the parts to fit them as a unit, or do you assemble them as your fitting them??????

Never done any work on a car before, but I would suggest doing everything you did before but backwards

You may as well assemble it together - Maybe even shove the brake pads ready in the two parts of each caliper. ;) Then like me, you can see where you scraped/dropped it and can touch up bits of green with a brush before fitting

Then when fitted you can again touch up the areas scraped/dropped/damaged/knocked during fitting.

Arghh!

I did this and screwed my car right up.
