Just looking through http://www.volkspage.net/technik/ssp/ssp/SSP_359.pdf page 48 and wondered why my car doesn't have the N316 valve. There is a mount point on the pipework for it but nothing fitted.

 

Is this valve for a different kw engine? 

 

 

Yes,

the engine in the Training manual is up to 125 kw, were with a manual gearbox, and with a map that had max power at 6,000 rpm, not 6,200 rpm

 

Different engine, differences in parts when they became the CAVE 2009.  then CTHE late 2012

Just to add,

the engine in the Article is Euro 4 Emissions before the introduction of the Euro 5 Emissions 1.4 TSI Twincharger 132 - 136 kw, CAVE then CTHE only with the 7 speed DQ200 Twin Dry Clutch, & with different engine managements for the CAVE & then the CTHE.
