Struggling to connect my HTC One

Featured Replies

Hello

I'm a bit useless when it comes to cars as Sparkly will verify.

I used to have an iPhone 5 which connected via a lightning adapter into the 30 pin MDI cable and it worked a treat on my Bolero.

However I've switched to Android and got a USB MDI cable, but now it just keeps saying device not recognised, any ideas?

Thank you

Rob

If your trying to plug it into the USB to play music through the car stereo system it won't work, the HTC one won't recognise the car system via USB.

The only way to play the phone music through the car stereo is via the Bluetooth.

Bit of a pain as you can't change the tracks using the stereo controls and have to do it via the phone!

It should still charge the phone via the USB though...
