So the soon to be (4 weeks on Monday) wife is away for a hen weekend in York, I thought I would finish work early and spend a few hours with the other lass in my life lol.

What did you use on the engine cover?

Nothing amazing mate, just a bit spray degreaser and a good scrubbing and hose off.

I do clean it every week though, so never gets too bad

Good effort mate! And all in the knowledge that once you've finished, you can pour yourself a cold beer, take charge of the telly remote and spend an evening loafing in peace & quiet. Happy days. ;-)

Looks cracking for 180k, your car is very nicely looked after considering she gets more usage than the average.

 

I think the Octavia looks superb with the Pegasus wheels, they are so much nicer than the boring looking 16's.
