Clutch and SMF

Featured Replies

Hi guys

Just looking at getting a new clutch and SMF for my fabia and just wondering what the current thought is with you guys on where to find the best deals?

I'm currently in the process of buying a 2260 and will be looking for a nice 260-270ish and would like a clutch and flywheel to be able to take the abuse! Do I even need a paddle? would an organic clutch do the job just as well?

I've had a search around numerous places to see what I can get a hold of.

When I had my old fabia I had a Helix cerametallic paddle clutch and SMF which rattled a lot...(didnt' bother me) and never slipped at all, and I was able to get it from Demon Tweaks if IIRC for around £800.

Just having a look about at the moment for the best deal out there.

Jabba's equivalent Sach's and SMF is coming in at £1086 inc VAT

Awesome GTI do the Helix Road clutch and SMF for £931.08....so not as hardcore as I had before

Darkside do theirs at £750 which includes a Sintered clutch

And Peformanceclutch.co.uk again do the Helix organic clutch with SMF for £810.22

Is there anywhere I've missed that maybe able to do a better deal?

Any genuine reviews of CG Clutch's? don't want this turning into a flaming war against them!!

Any saving would be ace as i'm going to be fitting an LSD at the same time!

Thanks

Liam
