enabling radio after battery died

Im trying to enable the radio after the car died due to battery, how do i do this, all the manual says is it shouldent need to be enabled again.

It just says 0000 on the screen

The radio fitted at the factory will recode from the ECU on power up ( from information on here). Any other one will require the code to be inserted via the panel . I'm suggesting that you are not the first owner, and If bought from a Skoda dealer, might be worth going back to ask for help . I know other makers can trace the code from the radio serial number ,but this comes at a price. might be worth a look at the various pinned posts at the start of this section to see if there's any help .

Have you checked through the various vehicle service/handbooks for a 4 digit code like 3415 or looked in the secret panel under the glove box floor ??
