Rear Lower Arm Bush?

Featured Replies

I got the alignment done whilst having my tyres changed today.

When the guy was trying to do the drivers rear, the inner bolt was not moving much and it looks like it's welded itself into the metal collet in the bush.

So can I remove the bolt and then change the bush or is it going to be easier to change the arm. I would also need a new nut and bolt I reckon as would probably knackered it removing it.

Cheers

Is that the bush that adjusts camber ? The arm that seats the spring in ? If so no need to buy a full arm, polybush it for about £45 for both sides.

Yeah that's the one. I did look at toothbrushes, and seeing as it  getting coilovers next year why not.

What's the best place to be  them from?

Can anyone point out which bushes house the Camber and Toe adjustment bolts for the rear axle?

Number 10, on that picture. I got the bolts the other day from tps, i think nuts, bolts and washers was £16.00.

I just bought 2 replacement wishbones, not actually fitted them yet,  as the bolts need cutting off.

Yes number 10. There is no need to buy new arms !!! Polybush 44BD is what I renewed mine with. I started a thread about three weeks ago regarding this. Have a look for it. Superpro probably do some equivalent, but £45.00 for both sides as opposed to nearly £100 per side renewing arms before labour at a garage. It's a no brainier replacing the full arm !

Doesn't the inner adjustment on the lower arm adjust the toe,the camber is adjusted at the hub,

To the OP I'm having the same problem and will have to cut the bolts to get the arms out, I think I will buy two new arms and bolts.
