Query on drive belt on Octavia Vrs

Just had my drive belt replaced (the one that goes around alternator/air con etc ) as it was sqreeching when pulling off.

Can someone please look at theres and tell me how it sits around the tensioner as mine seems to overhang by a couple of grooves but sits ok around the rest.

I have a 2020 manual and I have a slight play with the gear knob at the end (please excuse the euphemism), I am able to twist the knob slightly, its not so loose that it feels like its coming off, but the main stick is not moving at all its just the end, so it’s not the actual gearbox. Is this normal or something that can be tightened, as I can not find a picture of the inside of the Mk4, in the Mk3 it seems to be held in place with a metal clip, so if the Mk4 is made the same way, I’m guessin

Hi Folks, Both the front and rear window washers on my MK3 Fabia not working but window wipers do operate. Google it and go through the last posts but no clue. 1) No pump sound 2) My friend help to test the fuses no. 22, 27, 31 and 46, are all fine 3) At pump, the voltage around 11.x V but it will dropped to around 0.5v when turn on the wipers 4) The washer reservoir is full 5) The car battery replaced last summer with normal 12.6V Any idea please, Many thanks in advance

I’ve recently bought a 1.0 Octavia estate etec it didn’t come with mats and I’m struggling to find mats that fit! Even genuine ones from Skoda themselves wouldn’t fit Has any one else had this issue and if so did you manage to sort it out ?
