So, I have been asked by a guy I know if we can code the mirror settings on an Audi R8.

 Currently the mirrors will fold in when a switch is activated in the car, however the owner would like the mirrors to fold in when the car is locked via the remote key fob.

 We have been through most of the available menus but can not see anything to do with the folding mirrors, now either we need to go to specsavers and have another look or the menu we need is hiding within the VCDS software.

 

 Any help would be gratefully received.

Its certainly not an option that can be enabled on the TT, i would imagine the R8 is going to be the same?

 

It can be done but it requires adding a relay and a wiring loom between both door controllers, also a couple of wires need cutting the result being they will fold automatically but not on the switch any more.

 I will mention it to my mate and then hand hime the snips..   I am sure he will probably have a go at it.
