Can anyone help me figure out and fix the problem that I have with my

octy radio ( alpine, later addition) it doesn't work on any frequency in France

But works fine on FM and Mw long wave in the UK.

FM and MW should work the same as here in the UK, DAB in france is experimental and uses a non compatible system to ours. Once France go DAB only you'll need a radio that can support DAB+ (AAC, France and the rest of the EU) and DAB (MP2, UK only 1980s tech.) otherwise you'll not get anything.

 

Down here in Dorset, its quiet common to pickup French FM when the weather conditions are correct, and almost all the time on the coast. Sitting in Blandford outside my house, the car quiet regularly picks up Bleu Armo.
