New yeti owner

Featured Replies

Hi, just driven my (new to me) 9 month old Yeti S, with 2K miles - fab!

But... I've only had it a week and after one day of rain the wheels look like this! Any advice? Is this normal or should I get it seen to?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome. Hope you enjoy the Yeti.

I hope to own one soon...

That 'rusting' is perfectly normal. Looks just like dampness / moisture / rain settling on the disks and causing temporary surface spots.

It'll soon rub off once you've used the brakes.

Discs have always (?) rusted like that.  We see it now, with open alloys, but with near-disc steel wheels it couldn't be seen.
