DIY Used Vehicle Inspection? Fluid testers?

Featured Replies

I've read quite a bit about vehicle inspections and doing them yourself and am happy to do so, but one area that I am not going to be able to spot faults with the the engine / cooling system which is obviously quite a major part of the car.

Has anyone used these 4-in-1 fluid test kits from Opie Oils?

If so, how did you find them?

Checking engine oil, brake fluid and power steering fluid should be pretty straight forward, but how do you check the transmission oil on a Yeti?

You can't, well not without crawling underneath and locating the drain and fill holes, which even then may require specialist tools to access.

That's what I thought.

But I thought I'd check in case there was a filler hole easily accessible somewhere.
