Just wondering why I'm getting a waft of oil smell now and again, like a hot oil smell, like when I get out when it's running and the smell comes under through the door, and sometimes smell outside when idling, and even wen the Windows down sometimes?

Cars sat at 90' Degrees like always, a little smoke when cold setting straight off aparetnly but that's when it's cold and I set off, and only uses the normal amount of oil, there all different if read' I do give it some beans quite a lot but it's been warmed up, starting to get annoying smelling it tho....

And the engine covers off becuaee of induction

 The pressure control valve is a bit of a known weak spot on 07 cars and older. when it goes it can apparently suck a bit of oil in to the intercooler and dv. you can get the latest revision/blanking kit which solves the problem. does your car drive ok? does it idle erratically? i get the same smell with mine - and the pcv is on the list!

Seems to idle fine just the smell and using abit that's it, maybe ance a look into that
