Quick question, first part probably directed mainly at the Nilfisk guys, how does your lance connect to the cable, and assuming it is a screw thread how big is it?  if it has a standard name M** then even better.

 

Next question, has anyone any experience of buying longer replacement, or extension cables, and do you have any recommended suppliers.

 

NB I dont have a Nilfisk, I have a Wolfblaster Max (which sounds like top gear named it) was curious to see if i bought an extension hose, when it broke would I be able to take it with me (to a Nilfilsk presumably)

I invested in a 10m heavy duty pressure washer hose on my first Karcher unit.

It was expensive and has out lasted 3 pressure washers..... the standard hoses

being a bit flimsy and prone to kinking badly and catching around the car when in use.

 

It was an eBay supplier and around 30quid i recall.... but 5-6 years ago.

 

It was a good investment - the hose doesn't kink or bend easily and its heavy - so lies flat on the drive

and does not kick up or catch on the bumpers etc as you walk round the car.

 

Tricky to say what the best option is for you if you're thinking you may be changing pressure washer though...

The cable has a quick release fitting on the end which is made of brass with an O ring to form the seal. There's a slot in the fitting and a catch on the lance that slides into the slot to lock the 2 together.

different from mine, shame.  Suppose i could always get an adaptor down the line.
