  1. Looks great, well done, you'll have same great protection from that combo.
  2. Not used one myself, But I know someone who has & he says it's good. Like you he lives in a flat & has no access to an outside tap. He also goes to a lot of shows & he takes it with him to prepare his car.
  3. The reason IPA is used to remove polishing oils is because its alcohol based & flashes off quickly. APC will leave a residue behind, which will affect your LSP application. As for the 2 links then it's the 2nd one, but personally I use dedicated automotive cleaners, such as various diluted ratios of Autosmart G101.
  4. Get a spray bottle & dilute some citrus pre wash in it at a ratio of 1:10 (product dependant) spray on the bugs & leave a few mins. This will loosen them up & lift them from the paint. Then ideally jet wash them off. You'll find if you car is well protected with a wax/sealant then they will come off quite easily without resorting to scrubbing them & potentially damaging your paint.
  5. APC for me too & a stiff brush, then I use soapy water after to get rid of any APC residue. Rinse down & then thoroughly dry them with an old towel & the blaster sidekick.
  6. Nice one Neil, Prima products are very nice, shame they never really took off over here. Looking forward to the polishing thread
  7. " Some people say Xmas is the season of good will, we disagree it's all about the summer. 20% off Auto Finesse, Dodo Juice & Valetpro extended until Friday at midnight. Minimum order is £30. No discount coded needed, discount automatically applied at basket page. Grab yourself a bargain, before it's too late..." http://www.slimsdetailing.co.uk/
  8. Nice one, they've been selling them off cheap for a while, which is odd. Wonder if something is new out soon?
  9. Bilt Hamber clay & use water as a lube, I tend to put a bit of shampoo in the water to make it a bit slicker You can use a QD but in my opinion it's a waste of the product. Most people polish after claying so any residue from any QD would be removed with the polish & subsequent IPA wipe down. It's quite surprising how smoother the paint feels after claying.
