Getting light bulb out

Im having a bit of difficulty getting the connection off the light bulb its just a black connection and silver securing latch i don't want to pull on it to hard does it come straight off cheers :) on fabia mk2

have you tried removing the silver latch first?  Sounds like it might be a securing device - look for somewhere it (the silver latch) can be pinched / lifted off.

You need to twist the bulb out of the holder first. As your looking at the front of the headlight and puttingg your hand around the back, twist it clockwise and the bulb will come out with the plug on it.

Then the bulb just pulls off the plug.

Both of the above can be a little stiff.

How hard is it to change the bulbs on the mk2's? I have a monte carlo and looking to change my headlights in the next few days and was wondering how hard it is to do and if I need any tools? Cheers

Sorry I've only just seen this.

No tools required, just your hands. It can be abit stiff to get the clip out and the bulb out the holder if its not been done before, but youll manage :). Easy peasy.

Sometimes worth using a small mirror or take a photo and studying it to see how things are fixed on if doing things blind. Study the picture and work out what you would need to do then go and play!

Think i'm gunna go for an HID kit because apparently they are much brighter and look much better so gunna wait for xmas and hope for one under the tree :D

Just thinkin, i dont mind showin you my car with the HIDs fitted so you can see what theyre like? If you're not too far away?
