You can claim for another pair of headphones... the ones that are supplied...

go here

http://depot.info.apple.com/ipod/

you need to create an account and have your item's serial number at hand. once youve signed in, its pretty self explanitory... on the drop down menu, select "earphone - gargled" then select "continuous" then select "earphones (supplied with item)" and then just say something like, "the earphones are always crackling, ive tried it on other devices but it still doesnt work"

then continue the steps, and they send you a free replacement  my friend has done it 6 times in the last 9 months... just make sure you don't milk it too much... they send it out 2 days after you submit, no questions asked.. they dont ask for the old one to be sent back, they just send them out lol... mines coming on monday morning

if you think this is scamming, its not! scamming is bad! this is just meer quality of service provided by apple

... and it's exactly this kind of foolish attitude that means fewer and fewer companies give customer service like Apple.

What you are suggesting is obtaining goods by deception = THEFT :thumbdwn:

Pathetic!

Discusting, no wonder us proper people have to pay so much for things like that when scammers do what you are doing, you should be banned from buying anything.

You can replace the crap earphones you get with the iPOD with the E-series earphones from Shure. It's becoming a standard now and lots of people with iPODs are investing in these earphones because they are just so good.

www.shure.com

why would you want new ones?they are crap.i just invested in some decent SONY ones.and they don't shout"i have 100 odd quids worth of music player on my person"
