De-wipered looks pretty decent!

My rear washer jet kept messing up and the rear wiper looked tatty. My rear screen clears almost instantly in rain, the previous owner must have used rainex. Getting rid of the wiper was the best thing I done. Looks so much better. Now to tackle the front ;-)

No no no..... I'm thinking of a single wiper conversion. :-)

What I done was: open boot.

Remove boot trim.

Un do 3 bolts.

Then go to the outside where u have the wiper. Lift off the cover. Un do one bolt. Remove wiper.

Go back under the boot.

Take off water tubing. I used a cable tie to seal the tube so no water leaked.

Cable tied it up flush to the boot.

Same with electrical wire.

Remove wiper motor, it should just drop out.

Go back to outside of the boot. Insert the rubber plug.

Refit boot trim.

Job done :-)

Yea as joe said

I suggested in passing to my wife that I might remove the rear wiper due to it not working at the moment.... can't say she was too enthusiastic!

Guys what 'glue' are you using to stick in the blanking plate (the one of eBay supplied with no glue!)??? Cheers!

What one did you buy off eBay? ?

Actually I would ''kill'' for a rear wiper! Anyone who wants to sell the whole system to me???? :notme:

Or maybe the part number of the motor?

The proper job :p

But like OCTAVIA_4X4_ABT I would kill for a rear wiper too :( Really is crap not being able to clear rear window, especially poor for my rear camera!!
