I'd recommend getting a bigger pad than the backing plate, I'll have a word with with my supplier to see if he has any 2.5" pads

I've spoken to him & he is not aware of any pads that small & he questioned why you would want them that small. He also said a pad that small would be very difficult to control. BUT if they wanted to risk it then they could cut down a 3" pad.

I'm now thinking this is a wind up. 2" pad on a rotary extension bar

Needless remark removed

I use 50mm wool pads occaisonally.  Normally for first stage after wet sanding headlights.  I have never found a normal pad that small so usually follow up with a 3" pad on a 75mm backing plate. :)

Spot on

Good find

Many thanks

They're pretty cool.  I'll stick with my wool ones though as I haven't yet found a scenario I can't use 3" pads to follow up on the pretty aggressive style of a wool pad.  I just know one day I'll be cursing not having a normal 2" pad :D

Do I hint sarcasm... :) ah it's ok, I don't feel threatened by this comment. Enjoy the 2" pads.

I can see that being useful underneath wingmirror bodies and such places.
