Kingston DataTraveler Micro

Featured Replies

Had been using an SD card via a reader plugged into the MDI to play a few albums, as the previous Skoda had an SD card slot built in;

However that looked a bit untidy and restricted access to the storage space in front of the gear selector, so now I have one of these instead;

It's only the 8GB version (£4.19 from fleebay), however It's got enough storage space for my limited music collection and best of all its so small you don't notice its there.

I'll show you my 32gb usb tomorrow... Thinking of upgrading to a 64gb sandisc micro.

I like that. It's a great idea [emoji106]

I've currently got a 32GB Sandisk Cruzer switch in my Honda but as the USB is out in the open as opposed to inside the front armrest in the Civic on the Rapid I don't think that the red and black looks very nice, plus it's a bit on the big side. I was also planning on getting a compact one.

Some cars are funny when it comes to what brand usb stick you use so when i get my Rapid I'll plug the Sandisk one in and if it works I'll get myself one of the compact jobbies like one of these

Here is the USB I use... 32gb and you can hardly tell it's in the slot! I got it from mymemory for £20ish they do have a Sandisk 64gb like the one above for around £25ish... What I've found is as long as the USB is formatted FAT32, files are organised by Album artist and high quality mp3 (not mp4a as I found out the hard way!) then they work a treat! :)
