Looked and searched but found nothing conclusive. I find the seats in my pre facelift very un supportive.

I found the ones in my golf mk5 gti much better for my sciatica (yes I know old man at 29)

Has anybody changed for mk5 platform seats? Or even mk6?

If so is it a straight swap front / rear? Thanks in advance.

The front ones from a Golf Mk5/6 will be straight bolt in with only  minor re-soldering work needed to swap over the airbag plugs as they may be slightly different dependent on year.

 

I've tried both Audi A3 sport and VW Eos front seats in my octavia and in my opinion are superior for comfort / support especially for longer journeys.  

 

Don't think the rears will fit though as the shape looks completely different compared to an octavia

It's a shame the rears won't / may not fit would have liked to swap the lot.
