I use 19x8.5 ET42 with 225/35/19 give a little poke out of the arches but no rubbing issues whatsoever and my car is lowered 40mm.

What size? 18's? 19's?

Offset is all down to how brave you are and how you want them to sit.

Sorry should of mentioned 18s looking at the site i can either go 40 or 45 but i just don't want issues of scrubbing etc.

45 is closest to factory ET.

If you want them to poke more then go for a lower ET.  I was happy with my neuspeeds 8" wide and ET45.

excellent thanks for clearing that up would like them to poke out but would have to see nearer the time. did look into neuspeed alloys but not sure if i like them or not. with regards to the wideness of the wheels if i was to get the 3sdm being the fact they r 8.5j would that require stretched tires or not ??
