boost gauge

The previous owner has wired up the boost gauge through the head unit wires. Since I've changed the head unit it's stopped Woking I've taken it all out today and still can't seem to get it working. Is there anyone local to derbyshire/leicestershire that maybe able to help?

Struggling to find anywhere exactly what oil type my engine should be using. The owner manual says "ask a specialist garage for the correct engine oil", which is bizarre - can't the manufacturer of the vehicle just tell me! On a previous with a dealer, they put in "Edge Prof LL IV 0W-20". I've just had a service via the RAC today, and they gave me the remaining oil in the tub, and I've just noticed it's "0W-30" and also says "VW 504.00/507.00" specification. Hi everyone this has most probably been covered before I'm thinking of getting a stage 1 remap on my 2023 Octavia Vrs petrol . I've been looking it up and some people say I need a DSG tune as well is this true? any help would be grateful.

Hi .As the title really,no air comes through the face vents despite trying a recalibration several times. Is this something an interactive ( right description?) code reader can check? If the flap actuator has failed I shudder to think how inaccessible that might be! Thanks.

Fanbelt squealing 2.0tdi, is tensioner spring broke?

I just put a new Alternator clutch on my2.0tdi CFFB but the new belt is squealing. The tensioner was new a year ago, but doesnt seem to have the tension needed all the time. It can feel loose, or feel ok but starts squealing . When you move the tensioner bolt, it feels like it is catching and needs pushing back into position. Is something broken? Is there an easy fix or do I just put a new tensioner in? (I know how difficult it is to do)
