Stainless Exhaust Tips FL Yeti

Featured Replies

Just wanted to give some feedback on the stainless steel exhaust tips I've just fitted. I know that this used to be a pig of a job requiring the cutting of the exhaust to get them fitting properly.

Well, I'm pleased to say that wasn't needed! I don't know if they've changed the cut of the exhaust or the tips themselves, but they fit perfectly first time with no cutting needed.

The sloping angle of the exhaust and the tips are identical, allowing them to fit right to the end.

Make sure you order the FL specific ones and you'll be fine.

Thanks Dave,

I'm pleased with, it's a subtle difference but really does improve the overall look.

I fitted one a couple of months ago. Super easy aren't they? Looks markedly better. Well worth the £27 or whatever it was.

Agreed, glad they changed the design, didn't fancy taking a hacksaw to the Yeti!!

I used to make my own from scrap stainless sheet for next to nothing, but being retire I no longer have access to the equipment anymore; darn! Luckily my Yeti arrived with one fitted.

Mmmm I might take the ones off my Tig before it goes in. I wonder if they'll fit.

May do, these ones are locked on pretty solid though so not sure id be able to get them off without making a mess of the exhaust!
