Hi there is it true that there was only 500 blackline made in this country,and if so is there a issue number for each car thanks john..

There were 469 registered in the UK at the end of the 1st quarter of 2014 according to 'howmanyleft'.

Great value for the cost new great spec and had a very good px against another skoda.

There were rumours that Skoda didn't keep to the 500 and made a few more as they used the last mk2 estate shells up, but I can't remember seeing any proof positive either way, not that it makes much difference. Unlike the LE there was no issue number for the Blackline. Dealers seem to be asking slightly more for Blacklines than the standard CR vRS.

I have one and there are no numbers on the car like the LE version.

We sat in a blackline at Horton Skoda in Lincoln the Saturday before last while waiting for the salesman to work up the finance on the Rapid we were looking at...

That few minutes persuaded my wife and I that we needed an Octavia, I went and bought the petrol blue 12 plate Octy we have on the driveway the next day from someplace else

Horton's won't completely lose out on the deal though as we will be using them for servicing and, when we come to replace her, we'll likely get a shiny new car from there
