Is it not just in the fuse box?

On the basis of thread here: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/270274-octavia-mk1-rear-sidelights-not-working/ I'd say fuse 42? There should be a diagram of what does what on the inside of the fuse box cover when you take it off.

Yes, main supply is through fuse42 but this is a 25A fuse. There will be a smaller fuse as local protection for the unit, sometimes on the back panel but often inside on the printed circuit board.

Checked all fuses. They all look good. Ah well.

Sometimes there is a fuse in the back of the headunit itself.

Checked it earlier. It's fine.

Have you checked to see if they is 12v at the headunit plug?

Wouldn't know what I'm looking at buddy sorry. Haven't a clue electrically....

Check if you've got 12v permanent live and ignition. Also check the earth.

Get your multimeter out!
