iirc the hose is 25mm id

So...

Would it make any difference if say the hose was swapped to 27.6mm id or If squeezed on 22.3mm

Would it cause any issue or make no odds

If you are going for a silicon hose go for one the correct size, if it's too big you will struggle to make it seal properly by clamping down a jubilee clip, also when you stretch them onto something that is too big they often split in service, if you have no choice go for the smaller size and stretch it to fit, you can always put it in boiling water to make it more supple or use a squirt of wd40 to assist it going over.

Why go for something different when you know the hose is meant to be 25mm. Get 25mm in the first place dude. End of.

Did message bill and he said it makes no odds on how it works, its just the case of getting it to seal

The braided hose is about £60 for the length then tenner per end
