Car has no power!

Featured Replies

So I've just had my car into the skoda garage to get the intercooler pipe replaced after it split!

I've picked it up today and he's said I'll have to run it in a bit as it needs to recode to adjust for not loosing air,

But now when I excellerate it's slow and sluggish, I haveno power and don't even feel the turbo kicking in! Does this mean my turbo is gone? Or will it recode and pick up again??

It struggles to reach 70 mph at the moment :/

Any advice?

I think you may want to pop back to the dealer as once something like a boost pipe is replaced it should be fine from the word go, and if any "coding" needed doing they should of done it while it was there.

I will be going back tomorrow!!!

Doesn't need coding after replacing a boost pipe! Should have boost back straight away! Have they left any boost sensors off by mistake? Which pipe was replaced?
