Hello

Just a quick intro post to say Hi.

Picking up my ex-demo Rapid Spaceback 1.2 TSI on Saturday, it'll be my first Skoda. I've previously yoyoed between French and British cars (previous motors include a Pug 106, 2 Metros, a Rover 75 and a Citroen C4) - figured it was time for a change and have always liked the VAG-based Skodas and been impressed by the stories of good build quality and reliability I've heard from owners I know. Plus, I bonded very quickly with the Rapid on the test drive very quickly, something that didn't happen with the Renault Captur and Dacia Logan MCV I also considered.

Anyway - expect me to bug you all with various questions over the coming days and weeks, particularly as I work out what bits and accessories should and should not be included with the car when I pick it up (being an ex demo car, I expect some items have gone walkabout).
