Well after a years ownership (as of next week) the Vrs is going, I'm actually gutted.

Due to recently being offered a job where I have wanted to take my career its an opportunity I cant turn down and this job comes with a company van [emoji85] haha leaving my car surplus to requirement.

So if anyone is on the lookout for a Very well looked after Mk3 VRS Estate TDI DSG with Cruise Control, Black Design Pack, Xtreme Alloys, Privacy Glass, Spare wheel and Colour Maxidot it could be coming to a dealer in Yorkshire near you.

As the misses thinks my car is too big (i wanted to keep it) we got her a new one and took delivery of this little beast the other day:

A Fiesta ST3 with the Mountune MP215 pack on it so should keep me occupied for a few years .

A lot have asked me this. Iv found it to be no issue at all, and yes I would opt for the 19" again as personally the looks finish the car (each to there own i will add). Admittedly road noise was increase but again nothing the radio didn't cover and the radio didn't need to be loud. This car was lowered on Eibach springs after about 3000miles also so the ride was a little bumpier there but again the handling was dramatically improved.

I still have the option of 18" Gemini or 19" Xtreme for my order. Head and heart say different things. I'll be keeping the car for 5+ years and the road in Czech Republic are dreadful so atm my head is winning and leaving the 18" on the order. Your wheels look wicked though...

Many thanks. The roads where I live are country roads with a lot of pot holes. I had the wheels off the others day and no signs of cracking or anything like that either.

I was actually amazed at the drive its brilliant, and the 215bhp definitely makes it a nippy little thing. Misses loves it haha.

OT but can I ask why people feel the need to blur number plate details?

 

And, why do damaged vehicles on low loaders have bits of their number plate obscured with black tape? 

1) just reduces the lickliness of someone in a different part of the country cloning plate from a quick google search maybe.

2) i would think for anpr and speed cameras maybe

Yes, i don't have the time to swap them myself and for what it would cost I wouldn't gain anything. Just a shame as I have no use for the standard ones now.
