Long lasting Fronts

Featured Replies

My current Vreds Sessanta came with the car in Jan 14, and have now done 19k with still about 1.5mm of legal tread left.

I replaced the rears recently with Goodyears AS2's and am wondering if I am likely to get anywhere near the same mileage out of them on the front, or should I stick to the vreds again

or is there anything better?

The Vreds rarely spin and I have yet to experience them losing any grip, even in the wet

Car is MY12 VRS TDI

Thanks

My dad uses vreds on all his cars last being a 5.5 am and the grip is unbelievable

Not an answer for you, but I'm after the Sessantas for my next tyres. My Top 2 are the Goodyears or the Sessantas also.

Your post reads like a glowing review to me!

Sessantas are a bit cheaper, but the tread pattern is a real draw for me. Look awesome.

Right I have ordered a pair of good years F1 AS2's finally, getting fitted on Tuesday.

May also now have another 4 wheel alignment as it's been since January and 20k when I had it last done, but will have four new tyres all round.

Thanks
