Mine now won't shut at all, had problems for ages with getting flap to open and close and now the bloody thing won't shut at all????

Yeah it's a common fault with the Fabia and is just the cable mechanism which needs readjusting I think. Have a search as it was covered in detail recently

Try a search Tony, I think it is a known issue.

IIRC it just comes unclipped.

Yep, but if I do too much, it'll raise their expectation of me and it'll become a regular thing

Mine went the third time I went to refuel. Fixed FOC in about five mins but still not good that it is such a common prob. :thumbdwn:
