This was bought from a reputable Briskodian with the intention of fitting to my Octavia, but never did.

Westfalia detachable Swan neck towbar (317 102 600 001) for the following:

Octavia 2 Limousine, Combi 01/05>

Dedicated 'Right Connections' 7-pin / 12N electrics for the following:

Octavia Estate/Combi 01/05>

Octavia Scout 03/07>

Octavia Saloon 06/04>

These were fitted to a Vrs estate for about three years and had light / occasional use with a bike rack. No heavy caravans or trailers.

Both sets of instructions are included along with all bolts. As are both keys for the detachable swan neck.

He could not get the terminals out of the blocks so cut the wires as close as possible to the connector. You will need to source these terminals & crimp them on (I can give you some which might be the right ones) or scotch blocks or solder into the system as you see fit.

All instructions, bolts, keys, etc included.

£150 collected. Or it's on eBay for £165 if you'd prefer!

I would really like this, but also think I would fall into the same situation. Fit it then not buy a bike rack to make full usage.

The bar definitely does as that is what it says on the instructions.

 

But I'm not sure about the electrics as the Superb combo is not listed on the front page; only Octavias. For that reason I'll say no.

 

I'll split the bar and electrics of you want.

Although the instructions don't specifically say, I bought them off jerbear (see post #4 above - PM him to check if you wish) who had it on his Vrs estate.

 

Based upon that I'll say, yes it will.

 

The nearest I'd get to Scunthorpe though is either Sheffield or Leeds (where we have friends). But I have no plans to go and visit them for the remainder of this year.
